Hi!

We are a group of artists from sunny Brisbane, Australia, nerding out over anything and everything we find interesting about our craft! Between the four of us, we dabble in animation, games, illustration, scientific illustration, as well as academia. And, between the four of us, we have a variety of art interests that keep us curious! (We even have a horse girl!)

This is intended as a free arts resource, giving back to the online arts community that has taught us so much.

Our update schedule will follow the whims of interest and time constraints of life. But, on good weeks, we aim to send at least one short post via carrier-pigeon to your inbox.

Contributors/Founding Members:

Xena Achilleos: Xena is a character animator and sequential artist with a penchant for fantasy and broadway. She loves to blur the line between work and hobby by making animatics in her spare time and over analyzing media for fun. She is currently working in TV animation on shows she can’t talk about and listening to too many podcasts.

You can also find her on:

Naomi H: Naomi is an illustrator and graphic artist, and holds the proud award of being our resident horse girl. She also has the award for the most indoor plants in her office out of the four of us, as well as the largest collection of angry elf characters. She’s currently art director for a company that provides graphics and animation for science and med-tech companies.

You can also find her on:

Kate Lulham: Kate is a 2D artist currently working in games! When she isn’t planning our demise in a D&D game, she’s most often spotted hunched behind her sewing machine.

You can also find her on:

  • Nothing, currently. Kate likes to keep an aura of mystery and we can only respect that. We’ll add links when she reveals them to us!

Olivia Rea: Olivia is an illustrator and concept artist with a love of fantasy, fairy tales, figures, and all things flowing and ornate. She has worked as a freelance illustrator, and is currently teaching & undertaking a PhD on fantasy art at Griffith University. When she’s not gazing at clouds or admiring the overgrown garden, she’s excited to learn more things about art! Always!
